4 Fresh Looks for a Fresh New Year in 2026

Currently, an employee logs into their work computer, checks their messaging threads, checks updates to tickets added from colleagues overseas, and checks updates across a range of spreadsheets shared in the cloud.
This workflow is then linked to more specialist software depending on the department of the team and industry of the organisation. A specialist HR portal here, a CAD and project portal here, and a risk management portal there.
But COO Jerry wants to give team operations, training and security a new look in 2026. Here are 3 fresh looks after that implementation:
A Fresh Look for Morning Meetings
The morning meeting starts, and Jerry is ready to present. Last Monday, the ticket board and spreadsheets were the only tool for discussion, but now there are multiple apps for discussing each part of the department.

The Tasks app for discussing the latest progress over projects.

The Processes app for discussing new SOPs and policies that have been added to the employee training library.
The Files app for discussing any changes to the current cloud files structure, and where these cloud files might be linked to updated SOPs in the Processes app.
The HR app for carefully discussing any anonymous notes that the team has submitted, discussing actions that are being taken for reported hazards and complaints.
The CRM app for discussing new tickets raised by clients, and recent actions added to each ticket.

The Spaces app for viewing real-time occupancy of member parking or seating, and new membership passes that can be moved from draft to published.

The morning meeting is much more engaging, touching on each part of the department or team using the latest information that has been submitted.
A Fresh Portal for the Operations Manager
Microsoft Teams is open, WhatsApp might be open, but the company OnePal cloud hub is open too. There has been no need to install anything, as it runs securely in the cloud.
As COO for the company, Jerry has also been given access to all business modules and their functionality:
The Tasks app shows all group tasks and their live status across each team. Jerry decides to add to his work to-do-list and assign some items to team members.

The Processes app shows the latest training plans and SOPs. They have been tweaked following recent feedback submitted by team members in the field.
The Files app contains the latest links to folders and files hosted across GDrive and Microsoft 365. For all employees with live access in their office account, these links continue to work, enabling team members to open files in native apps directly on their phone.
The CRM app shows the latest tickets submitted by customers, each with different status tags that have been updated recently by the team.
The Spaces app shows the live occupancy snapshot of the parking lot that has been designated for VIP member parking. Team members have taken down some available spaces due to maintenance and repairs.
The HR app shows 3 new anonymous notes that have been submitted by workers out on the construction site. Each note is tagged based on status of escalation.
A Fresh Work App for Site Members
Jane works outside of the office, and mostly on-site. The different portals for logging training, risk and project status have so far only been practical when back on the office PC. During working hours, contact is limited to messaging apps, phone calls and signed paperwork.

But now that Jerry has implemented OnePal, Jane can do a lot more and a lot faster than ever before:
She can view her latest training plan by clicking on her digital employee pass
She can scan to open the parking barrier for the employee parking lot and select a space
She can message HR and check her PTO
She can check 1-1 projects with HR
She can submit a spotted hazard anonymously to HR
She can submit an observation to a specific project for management to review
She can view her latest employee rewards
She can submit a digital timesheet to corroborate another entry on the existing system
She also has access to the Tasks module in her work portal, so she can collaborate with her colleagues over the status of specific parts of the project, signalling progress instantly to her line manager.
A Fresh CRM for Commercial Team Members
Jerry has also been responsible for updating commercial operations for the hotels within the organisation. As OnePal provides optional commercial tools, Jerry has equiped commercial staff with:

A new CRM app that view the latest tickets submitted by hotel guests
5 new digital member passes are published that hotel VIP members can claim to access digital room service, virtial queue and other VIP features.

A new app called Spaces for Sarah at the hotel desk to moitor occupancy of the hotel VIP member car park, monitor requests for a digital pass, and operate virtual queues on busy weekend days during peak check-in.
